We do a lot of basements, crawl spaces, etc for RTM builders. This particular project was a @jade_homes_rtm move on where we had a complete 9’ basement underneath. This is a beautiful open basement with 1 bedroom, family room, a full bath with linen closet, mechanical room, storage room and a school room. The entire basement was spray foamed for sound proofing between the floors and the icing on the cake was the client had a very old set of doors that we were able to restore for the classroom complete with custom signs.

We were blessed to be able to finish up this 60 x 120 shop just before Christmas. This part of the country provided a ton of new challenges that we don’t normally have to deal with: tons of rock, insane winds that come up out of nowhere; snow then chinooks then freezing rain all in the same day; it’s a true miracle how we were able to get this pulled off this late in the year. We are grateful to @judy_cowan and @ufacooperative for all of the opportunities this year and we look forward to many more buildings together in the future.
The main building is completely framed and braced. Next we have a lean-to down one side which will be trenched in. It’s hard to complain when you get to work with a view like this.

We had a terrific day and were able to get the remaining trusses up and braced. We still had to fight very high winds but were able to finish up all the bracing as the sun went down this evening.

We had to shut down the crane lift early because of high winds but we’re able to get the first 48’ completely strapped and braced this evening. We are looking forward to finishing this roof tomorrow.

Just finished up this 80x80 commercial shop for Rebel Vac and @ufacooperative in Red Deer. All that is left is the doors and the floor. This project took 11 days start to finish.

Ended up getting the whole roof up in a day thanks to some great work from @brawlerheavyhaulltd. We couldn’t get through the doors with the trusses on a telehandler like we usually do we opted to crane them one at a time. It went really well and she’s up and braced.

Here are some final shots of the finished patio/ back yard renovation. All the rock and steel railings are complete, the resistance pool is in place and all of the lighting is complete (we will make sure to make another post of this place at night. It looks incredible.) All that is left is grass and trees. The gazebo we built a couple years back is finally tied into the rest of the patio and it still is the focal point of this space. This has been transformed to feel like a 5 star resort.

Here are some more progress shots of the patio portion of our reno. A beautiful (and huge) exposed aggregate patio was poured in two tiers to give two complete different sitting areas. The front apron was removed and replaced with matching exposed concrete as well as all the sidewalks including surrounding the existing gazebo. We built this gorgeous timber wind fence using custom built black bases and brackets which will match the future rock/metal fences. The fence posts have all been wired for sidewalk lights as well as all the posts. Custom metal railings and additional rock pillars to come.

Finished up a unique timber frame breezeway between an existing house and garage. Both buildings were at different angles to each other but this is a really great way to tie them both together.
