Sometimes a job doesn’t have to be glamorous or flashy to change someone’s life. We had a long standing client who had this shop absolutely overrun with mice and it had just become a catch-all for junk. It had gotten to the point where it was unsafe to even be in it. We cleaned and gutted the entire building down to the studs and rafters. All new insulation in the walls, new blown in attic insulation, and all new electrical throughout and a simple plywood finish.
An incredible project currently underway in Calgary, Alberta for some wonderful friends and clients. We converted an existing deck into a timber frame 4 season sun room. The exterior has a beautiful cedar, half log siding with True Dry Fir Timbers. The inside walls, ceilings, and floors were spray foamed and we added a beautiful pickled @readypine tongue and groove in the walls and ceiling. The floor is the existing Dura Deck material. We tied into the existing roof with a new metal roof and flashings. Windows and door to be installed next.
We have had a busy summer of projects and haven’t stayed up to date for the most part on social media. Over the next few days we will post some of our summer highlights.
This was a beautiful shop renovation on an existing barn just west of Three Hills. The barn was completely re clad, with some roof repairs and new sliding doors added. We had to dig the entire site out from the hill and finish it with all the exterior grading and ditches. We also changed and added all new electrical throughout the building.
Top to bottom exterior Reno on this farm house near Rosebud, AB.
We renovated the sunroom, added rock features (with lots more rock to come), changed all of the siding to CanExel wood grain, partially shingled the roof, added new windows and doors and will finish it out with a new composite front deck.
An absolutely beautiful 4 season sunroom addition complete. This started as an outdoor dog run, and is now one of the most useful rooms in the house. We lifted the roof completely, changed all the joists to structural LVLs, added a concrete floor with in floor heat, spray foam walls, wood grain tile floors, new triple pane windows, and a gas fireplace with rock wall feature.
The nicest wood shed you will ever see. This is what happens when every single detail of your property matters….this building was actually the original Springbank schoolhouse from some time in the late 1800s. 2 students and a teacher used to meet in this tiny building and there was no way we could just destroy that piece of history.
We repurposed a very old railway car sliding door, track, and some old wooden fir beams to make this beautiful detail at the @rafter.one barns. There is never a single piece of this project that is overlooked. We take what most would throw away and repurpose them for something that you’ve never seen.
